Kusunoki Masatoki (楠木正時)

Masatoki KUSUNOKI (the date of birth unknown – February 4, 1348) was a military commander during the period of the Northern and Southern Courts (Japan). He was the second son of Masashige KUSUNOKI and a younger brother of Masatsura KUSUNOKI.

In 1346 in the Battle of Shijonawate, he fought against the brothers KO no Moronao and KO no Moroyasu and was defeated, as a result, he committed suicide together with his older brother Masatsura by stabbing each other.
